Time Fix: Through the Hourglass By Sam Tumblin

Time Fix: Through the Hourglass

By Sam Tumblin

Once in a blue moon my mind drifts far,
Through fractured memories and rusted scars.
Chaotic echoes endlessly replay,
Like broken clocks that cannot find the day.

I wished for time to bend like Doctor Who,
A fading phone booth tearing darkness through.
To drown my nightmares deep inside the stream,
And silence every shadowed, shattered dream.

The hourglass reversed beneath dead skies,
Rewriting wounds and old goodbyes.
I watched my past decay inside a hearse,
Each second healing while becoming worse.

Then suddenly I jolted from the haze,
A puppet dancing through forgotten days.
Still wishing time could fix what I once knew,
But time was never broken — only you.
