Stay True To Yourself By Sam Tumblin

Stay True to Yourself

Always stay true to yourself,
And inner peace will forever follow.
If not, you’ll find your spirit placed upon a shelf,
Looking morbid, decrepit, and hollow.

The world may pull you in many directions,
Tempting you to abandon what you know.
Yet happiness is not found in false reflections,
But in the seeds of authenticity you sow.

Many wear masks to gain approval,
Hiding their hearts from those around.
Only to discover that self-removal
Leaves their soul lost and unbound.

Remember…

Always stay true to yourself,
And inner peace will forever follow.
Do not trade your worth for fleeting wealth,
Or wake one day feeling empty and hollow.

Stand firm when storms arrive,
Let your convictions guide your way.
For the truest part of you will survive
Long after doubts have faded away.

So remember…
