In life is there ever any silence

I try to block out all non-compliance

Everything consume my being

Lost paths never no meaning

I awake to hear my name

Regurgitate yesterday old same

Not to go my ear lobes pleads

It’s amazing how we protect the ones we truly love like a sparrow

Feeding clothing loving even if we have to give up our marrow

For those experiencing this it’s all so nice

Knowing you cared for others it feels good your heart suffice

If not have you have given up on a hapless try thinking all in vein

Take some time out open your heart let it dwell love you will gain

FRIDAY POLYESTER MUSIC HOUR BY SAM TUMBLIN

FRIDAY…FRIDAY…FRIDAY…POLYESTER HOUR!!!!! What you know about that? If you
don’t know let me briefly explain.

“Friday Polyester Hour” as affectionately called by most DJ’s on Fridays when they play
select music mostly from the 70’s and 80’s sometimes early 90’s.

This is just not any old songs from that era it’s the “Pure Adulterated Funk make you
shake your trunk that takes you back to Afros and pics and wigs that stick!” Got It?

There where plenty of good artist that I enjoy singing, and bobbing my head to while
I’m driving or working on Friday’s…trust me site for sore eyes with my moves!

But one of my favorite spins some if the DJ’s play regularly on Polyester Hour is “She
Drop The Bomb On Me” by the GAP Band. Look when I hear that its like “World Please
Stop Spinning And Drop It With Me”!

Like I said I have many favorites on Friday Polyester Hour. Hey what’s yours even if you
break out the old eight track?

Navigating portals phone booth in lieu

Eradicating my worstest dreams

Drown them all in a warp of stream

That’s when I jolt from my trance

I hate to waste time as others run

We’re imperfect but my mind is strong

Barriers nowhere this world I belong

Candles on both sides long burnt out

But my hour glass pouring steadily no doubt

Ending of time is always in my head

Never know when were dead
