Before We Breathe by Sam Tumblin I SAM TUMBLIN

BEFORE WE BREATHE BY SAM TUMBLIN

Before we breathe

We scream and shout

We scream and shout

Never ever trying to find out

What in the first place

Led us to this distaste

To eventually being very uncouth

Unfortunately ending with a boot

Definitely squared in our mouth

We’re not talking cause we pout

Why did it had to end this way

Big old fracas just a disarray

Before we breathe

We scream and shout

Never ever trying to find out

Why we both need to be deloused

Maybe next we’ll try and rethink

To breath and blink before we sink

Letting in infused rage unknown

Then our hearts will be blown

So let’s not scream and shout

Let’s breathe to see what life is all about

Many times uncontrolled anger brings us consequences that after thinking about it, we see that it was a great mistake to speak without thinking or shouting unnecessarily. With a cold head you think better. A very moving poem. Greetings
