MIRROR WE PEER

everyday in the mirror we peer
do you really like the reflection my dear
days gone by of partying and cheer
maybe some glances that causes a sear
others wish the mirror was at the rear
hoping last reflection permanently sincere
whatever course we ultimately commandeer
one day we have to see ourselves clear
glance at a time in the mirror we peer
till we leave this form and disappear
