Cranium Ink By Sam Tumblin

Cranium Ink

I gave you my hopes and dreams,
Tears of pain and all in-between.
Cranium ink is what I stream,
A tattered black quill — my queen.

Indigo blood, I’ll never depart,
Schematic movements play their part.
Uncanny souls — we simply be,
Cranium ink is all of me.

Through fractured thoughts and hollow skies,
I carved my truth where silence lies.
Each dripping verse, each shadowed plea,
Became the chains that set me free.

Ink-stained hands and weary eyes,
Feeding poems to midnight skies.
From broken veins these words still sink,
A soul baptized in cranium ink.
