What really is hope?
A quiet light when shadows grope.
A longing for solace through life’s embrace,
A gentle strength in every place.
To some, it stretches broad in scope,
A fragile thread, a steadfast rope.
Some seek escape through fleeting dope,
While others sink to whine and mope.
Yet those who find enduring peace
Learn that burdens slowly cease.
They rise again, they gently cope,
Held together by the hand of hope.
The sun and moon still share the sky,
Reminding hearts to always try.
Though roads may bend and dreams may slope,
Keep reaching onward—never lose hope.
So journey on through joy and strife,
