All looks hopeless, not even a star
Prisms of light cease to exist
A wretched day, a bottomless abyss

Days like this are far and few
An immortal curse I thought I slew
Yet blackness remains today’s dark hue
Ashes of storms from what once blew

The sky hangs heavy, cold, and scarred
Like shattered dreams left battle-marred
Silence whispers through the gray
As hope itself just fades away
