BETTER DAYS BY SAM TUMBLIN

Better Days

I think we’re all tired of the wars we see,
Malnutrition across the world refuses to flee.
Random outbursts and acts of crime,
Many work hard yet can’t save a dime.

Born into a world with visions carefree,
Till bills and life’s ills multiply by three.
Burdens grow heavy as the years pass by,
While many still wonder and question why.

Yet hope remains beyond the haze,
A brighter dawn beyond today’s grays.
One day we’ll see far better days,
A world at peace, no longer dismayed.
