Diamonds

Diamonds

Diamonds are clear,
Yet diamonds sometimes fear.
Diamonds we may leer,
Rare treasures we hold dear.

In life, we are diamonds,
Born brilliant, bright, and clear,
But over time, through broken trust,
We learn to live with fear.

Shady characters cross our path,
Leaving shadows where love stood.
They teach us lessons through their acts,
Though never as they should.

Yet the one we truly love,
We hold forever near—
For even diamonds lose their shine
When clouded by our fear.

So guard the diamond within you,
Let your heart remain sincere.
For life’s greatest treasures aren’t the ones we find—
But the ones we choose to hold dear.

I agree—we are born diamonds. The trials we face have a way of robbing us of the clarity and to question our worth and value if we are not careful in protecting the jewel that is LIFE!
