Analogy Of The Lost Petal by Sam Tumblin

I stopped to stare at the ground of one white lost petal
Didn’t know how it ended there maybe lawnmower blade metal
That’s when it it kicked in for this single petal an analogy of life
Humans and petals was born and have the same strife
Just open your eyes and read my life’s short whim
We are conceived attached to the
to womb much like the petal to stem
We both nourish from young as seedling until we both bloom
Than we grow older go our separate ways or blow away in our tomb
Now the analogy…we are like that single white lost petal
Was raised now grown but eventually got detatch by some form of metal
