HAUNT THE MIND
can we truly say the past is behind
if thoughts linger haunt the mind
maybe this statement is by design
balance the scales of heart, soul and mind
this is the inherent curse for mankind
only in paradise will we be realigned
heart, soul and mind at peace refined
but for now what lurks is how we are aligned
