WHAT WE BREED IN THE MIND

Who knows what breeds within the mind,
Some thoughts are happy, warm, and kind.
While others twist, distort, and bind,
Leaving shadows we struggle to unwind.

We all must walk our different ways,
Through nights of sorrow, nights of praise.
Some find joy in life’s embrace,
While others face the weight of strife
And wander through a barren place.

Yet whatever thoughts we breed within,
We share the human heart beneath the skin.
Though our paths may bend and wind,
We are all connected by the human mind.

For thoughts can shape the course we take,
The dreams we build, the choices we make.
And through this life, both joy and pain,
We learn that we are not so different
When we look beyond the surface again.
