  • Analogy Of The Lost Petal

    Analogy Of The Lost Petal

I stopped to stare at the ground of one white lost petal
Didn’t know how it ended there maybe lawnmower blade metal
That’s when it it kicked in for this single petal an analogy of life
Humans and petals was born and have the same strife
Just open your eyes and read my life’s short whim
We are conceived attached to the
to womb much like the petal to stem
We both nourish from young as seedling until we both bloom
Than we grow older go our separate ways or blow away in our tomb
Now the analogy…we are like that single white lost petal
Was raised now grown but eventually got detatch by some form of metal

No intro I anoint myself pied piper

My flute of love can’t be no riper

I see that you are a little down today

Feeling nothing even going your way

It seems the rain keep on falling

    Heart can’t withstand the mauling

But before you fret it all away

Allow me these few words to say

Let my melodic words whisk around

Can only go up when on the ground

Didn’t you know even the rain sound

Why she seeps later gulley’s found

So we all have a purpose in life

Like rain find our place thru the strife

So I’ll keep playing my flute follow me

Pied piper has set you free So let your mind flee

    So let your mind flee

  • HAND GOT TO FEED

    HAND GOT TO FEED

HAND GOT TO FEED BY SAM TUMBLIN

    Mind keep reciting

    Got to keep writing

    Like hungry in need

My hand I have to feed

    Definitely on overload

    Brain and heart to decode

    After the stories told

    Famished and unsold

    That’s when I reload

    Until decrepit and old

    Millions hopefully sold

    All my tales told

    Mind keep reciting

    Got to keep writing

    But that’s my dream

    Cheddar and the cream

    Isn’t that so sweet

    Spend before you tweet

But that’s what my hand write

    Ink pouring like sprite

    Hope that’s not contrite

    Never meant to incite

    But I have to eat

    Paper is my meat

    Mind keep reciting

    Got to keep writing

    Hope to be inviting

    Filemeon we biting

    But to achieve this first

    Got to repeat this verse

Write like you got to eat

    Recite until you beat

    Pen on the table

    Lost tales and fables

    Like hungry in need

    Your hand got to feed

    GO ON BY SAM TUMBLIN

When the pressure just seems to mount
Down destitute on the ropes last count
That’s when you got to dig and try to believe
Stay on course pressures obstacles will be relieved
True statement you got to live this life to relate
But if not strong here’s my out stretch hand not to try and berate
But to help uplift commend you to comprehend
To go on no matter the pressure down to the end

    • THE WORDS WE SPEAK
THE WORDS WE SPEAK Why are graven the words we speak,Unfortunately, known when we teach?Telling others of hearts we’ve broken,Seared in the mind like a rare token. Wishing we could take back what was said,Uttered thoughts—redemption is dead.Always be careful of the words we speak,Lest we meet our demise in tale and teach. — Sam… Read more: THE WORDS WE SPEAK
    • The Weight of a Quiet Stare by Sam Tumblin | SAM TUMBLIN
The Weight of a Quiet Stare by Sam Tumblin | SAM TUMBLIN Whenever life feels too heavy to bear,Find yourself a silence and simply stare. Not every storm deserves your despair,Some fade away in the stillness there. The mind may race with endless noise,Breaking peace and stealing joys,Yet calm can soften sharpened air,Healing hearts unaware. • The Weight of a Name Poetry in Every Breath by Sam Tumblin
What’s really hidden in a name,A whispered hope for lasting fame,Lofty dreams we try to claim,A spark alive within the flame. Maybe innocence at the start,A newborn echo, pure of heart,Or silent wounds that pull apart,Leaving shadows like a work of art. Could a name become our shame,Or fuel the fire we cannot tame,Searching deeply… Read more: The Weight of a Name Poetry in Every Breath by Sam Tumblin

    • THE THING THAT FOLLOWS | SAM TUMBLIN
With every step, it follows,Never to the front to wallow.Through every road and every bend,It stays beside me like a friend. Even when I bend,It bows like at a pew to attend. When I stand tall, it stretches high,Like some dark creature reaching for the sky. I turn around—there’s nothing there,Just empty space and quiet air.I… Read more: THE THING THAT FOLLOWS | SAM TUMBLIN

THE SWEETNESS WE CREATELove isn’t something found in a hurry,or gathered from a passing glance,it grows slowly in the placeswhere two hearts choose another chance.Like honey hidden in the comb, sweetness takes its time to form, through restless days and troubled nights, through every rain and every storm. The bee doesn’t question every flower,it simply searches, then believes, turning what… Read more: THE SWEETNESS WE CREATE | SAM TUMBLIN
    • THE SHADOW WITHIN | Spoken Word Poetry Performance by Sam Tumblin | SAM TUMBLIN
THE SHADOW WITHIN is a spoken word journey into the darkness we sometimes carry silently within ourselves. • The Shadow Within | SAM TUMBLIN
THE SHADOW WITHIN In the dark, do you see the shadows that peer?A stillness fills the air, while silence draws near. You speak aloud to the shadow; no voice replies,As the figure slowly turns, then disappears from your eyes. • THE SELF WITHIN BY SAM TUMBLIN
THE SELF WITHIN Often alter egos we hide,Only in our hearts to confide.Happy, glad, gloomy, goth inside,Each a companion by our side. Masks we wear throughout the day,Guarding thoughts we tuck away.Yet beneath the world’s broad tide,Lives the soul we cannot hide. Dreamer, warrior, poet, guide,All reside and coincide. For what lies buried deep within,Shapes the… Read more: THE SELF WITHIN BY SAM TUMBLIN

    • THE PIANO BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH | Spoken Word Poetry by Sam Tumblin
Why does the piano seem to play endlessly at the beginning of life, yet fall silent when death arrives? In this haunting spoken-word poem, Sam Tumblin reflects on the strange relationship between life and death—the music we hear while we’re here, the silence that follows, and the fragile space between the two. Life and death… Read more: THE PIANO BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH | Spoken Word Poetry by Sam Tumblin
    • The Piano Between Life And Death | SAM TUMBLIN
Why does the piano play incessantly at birth,Yet at death, no crescendo is heard beneath the earth? It’s amazing how life and death constantly flirt,While we face the unfortunate disparity of life’s dearth.

    • THE MIND BEHIND THE VEIL | SAM TUMBLIN
THE MIND BEHIND THE VEIL We walk beneath the same wide sky,yet see a different shade of blue.Your world may speak in whispers, while mine speaks something new.
